Welcome to the 2018 Far West Fall Convention. A weekend for all ski racing enthusiasts!
We are excited to be unveiling the Far West Development Initiative as our main focus for Coaches Education and for our Parent Sessions! This project has been under the guidance of Ron Kipp, along with Far West Program Directors and key members of the production community. A great resource and development tool for all members of the Far West from coaches to athletes to parents! This is a 'not to be missed' presentation. Coaches will have the opportunity on Saturday, November 3rd during their coaches education session, and Parents on Sunday, November 4th during parent communications session.
Age class forums will also be available on Saturday, along with the Tahoe League Coaches meeting. Updates for each age class will be presented during these forums.
Athlete assessments and parent sessions are being held on Sunday, November 4th. The move to Sunday will allow our athletes to take part in SAT testing on Saturday, in support of the Student Athlete. There will be a parent/athlete/board of directors luncheon social available, too. The assessments and parent sessions are a free event.
Officials education sessions are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday! Fees for the officials clinic is $20, to be paid only one time. Fees are being collected through our online registration system with adminskiracing.
